What fascinates me is that every great story, either consciously or unconsciously, holds a base of characters who somehow by luck or by judgement, follow the wealth dynamics profiles.
There is a magic there. When a story combines each of these profiles, we easily see and recognise ourselves, and we relate to one of the characters.
Not surprising really when you consider that the iChing is thousands of years old, and that wealth dynamics, as with all profiling systems, has its base in the iChing, directly relating to Jungian archetypes. You could say then, that Carl Jung’s work in translating the iChing, was a work of genius.
Some say that there is a system for creating a best selling story.
You could for example, follow these 7 elements:
1 Desire
2 A Big Problem
3 An Opponent
4 The Plan
5 Mortality & Clarity of Purpose
6 Self Revelation
7 Fulfillment
Combine this recipe with a cast of 8 characters and you have something special. Star Wars for example hit on this by sheer luck.
Creator: Luke Skywalker
Star: Hans Solo
Supporter: Chewbacca
Deal Maker: Jabba the Hutt
Trader: Princess Leia
Accumulator: C3P0
Lord: Yoda
Mechanic: R2D2
And did any of you notice how each of these characters experienced all the 7 elements only in a different order?
So notice now how you can anticipate the story of your own life. Isn’t that interesting? Happy story telling.
